Modes

In Run for Cheese, there are several different game modes, and each of these game modes and different rules and capacities. Below is a list of all game modes as well as their rules and capacities. Other than "regular" mode, all other game modes require an achievement to be unlocked.

Regular

• Capacities: Can jump twice!
• Rules: Collect as much cheese as you can and give it to the crying mice.
• Unlock: Initially available

Fast

• Capacities: Can jump twice!
• Rules: You run faster!
• Unlock: Achievement #5 - Obtain a score of 10000

Climb

• Capacities: Can jump twice!
• Rules: Platforms will appear higher and higher!
• Unlock: Achievement #56 - Climb to a height of 9

Lots of enemies

• Capacities: Can jump twice!
• Rules: Double the enemies and harmful objects!
• Unlock: Achievement #40 - Get hit 10 times by enemies

Simple mouse

• Capacities: Can only jump once!
• Rules: Collect as much cheese as you can and give it to the crying mice.
• Unlock: Achievement #20 - Feed 10 mice

Giant

• Capacities: Can jump twice and destroy platforms!
• Rules: Collect as much cheese as you can and give it to the crying mice.
• Unlock: Achievement #9 - Gather 200 cheese

Playful

• Capacities: Can jump twice!
• Rules: Hit as many balls as you can!
• Unlock: Achievement #47 - Touch 5 balls

Teleport

• Capacities: Teleport to the desired location!
• Rules: Collect as much cheese as you can and give it to the crying mice.
• Unlock: Achievement #37 - Cover 1000 meters

Flying

• Capacities: Fly through the air! Guide the mouse by pressing above or below it.
• Rules: Collect as much cheese as you can and give it tı the crying mice.
• Unlock: Achievement #88 - Total gathered feathers: 100

Greedy

• Capacities: Can jump twice!
• Rules: Keep your cheese as long as you can!
• Unlock: Achievement #53 - Carry 100 cheese

Diabolic

• Capacities: Can jump twice!
• Rules: Eat everything you can to avoid starving!
• Unlock: Achievement #26 - Destroy 200 platforms (requires Giant to be unlocked)

Skeleton

• Capacities: Can only jump once!
• Rules: Eat everything you can to avoid starving!
• Unlock: Achievement #23 - Eat 10 mice (requires Diabolic to be unlocked)

Vampire

• Capacities: Fly through the air! Guide the mouse by pressing above or below it.
• Rules: Eat everything you can to avoid starving!
• Unlock: Achievement #95 - Number of eaten mice: 250 (requires Diabolic to be unlocked)

Hard

• Capacities: Can jump twice!
• Rules: Combination of modes "Lots of enemies","Fast" and "Climbing"!
• Unlock: Achievement #110 - Unlock 10 achievements linked to game modes
